Cipatex® Group

It all started in 1964, when Cipatex® began its activities in the manufacturing of synthetic laminates at its headquarters in the city of Cerquilho, state of São Paulo, in Brazil. More than twenty years later, in 1987, it became a group of companies with more than 100 thousand square meters of production area, producing products in the plastics, chemical and non-woven sectors.

The company has diversified constantly and today has a product line that serves the footwear, swimming pools, handbags & accessories sectors, home appliances, construction, furniture, clothing, automobile, sports and leisure, gifts, school supplies and visual communication. Due to its continued search for improvement Cipatex has become a leader in the manufacturing of PVC and PU synthetic coatings. Overall, Cipatex® has around 1,400 employees distributed in five industrial plants across Brazil. Cipatex® has been in the geomembrane market for more than 20 years, solidifying its leadership position by delivering high quality products and services.

Throughout its history, the company has kept its activities focused on protecting the environment and always seeks to improve production techniques with minimal use of resourc-es. Cipatex® was the first company to receive the gold certifi-cation of the “Origem Sustentável” program, which certifies Brazilian companies that incorporate sustainability into their processes. Currently, 100% of the waste generated by Cipatex units, whether liquid or solid, are sorted, treated and sent for recycling or appropriate destination(s).

In 2017, Cipatex® was awarded the GPTW Award, awarded by Great Place to Work, a global research, consulting and training company that recognizes the best work environ-ments around the world. This year the company was also the first in the segment of synthetic laminates in Latin America to receive the ISO 9001: 2015 certification after an audit by the ABS – Quality Evaluations, Inc.
